Refunds and Disputes

Effective: 30 September 2026

This page forms part of the Terms of Use of AiUsedMyWork (aiusedmywork.org), operated by AiUsedMyWork.org.

1. Fees and contributions

1.1 Free to use. Everything the platform offers creators is free: joining a company’s Action, seeing member counts, guides on keeping your own records, background on the rules where you live, the community, and information about lawyers. We never sell places, and no payment changes a count or how Actions are ranked or shown.

1.2 Voluntary contributions. When contributions are open, the Support page accepts voluntary payments towards research, community moderation and running the site.

1.3 Refunds. Because contributions are voluntary, a completed contribution is generally not refunded. We will refund:

To ask for a refund, email contact@aiusedmywork.org within 14 days of the payment with the date, the amount and the receipt or reference from Whop. Once we have confirmed it, the refund goes back to the original payment method through Whop; how long it takes to arrive depends on Whop and your bank. If you think a charge is wrong, please write to us before disputing it with your bank, so we can put it right quickly. Nothing in this section limits any right you have under consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.

2. Disputes about memberships, counts and lawyer badges

2.1 Your memberships. You can leave any Action from your account page. You stop being counted straight away and that Action’s emails stop. If you think you are counted in an Action you did not join, or a count looks wrong (for example because of fake accounts), email contact@aiusedmywork.org. We will look into it and remove memberships created in breach of the Terms of Use.

2.2 Lawyer badges. Anyone may challenge a lawyer badge shown on the platform, or content a lawyer has published, by writing to contact@aiusedmywork.org with the reason and any supporting public record. We will check the official licensing record again and may suspend the badge or remove the content.

3. Disclaimers and limits of liability

3.1 Information as it stands. We work to keep counts, guides and background information accurate and give a source for each legal rule, but the platform is provided “as is” and “as available”. We make no promise, express or implied, about the accuracy of third-party information, the legal liability of any AI company, the outcome or chances of any claim, or any limitation period or deadline. For anything that turns on a deadline, ask a qualified professional where you live.

3.2 Limits of liability. To the fullest extent the law allows, the operator and the people who run the platform are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from your use of the platform or from not being able to use it. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

4. Governing law and disputes

4.1 Governing law. These terms and the platform’s policies are governed by the laws of the place where the operator is established, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If you use the platform as a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.

4.2 Resolving disputes. If you have a dispute about the platform, please email contact@aiusedmywork.org first; we will try in good faith to settle it by discussion. If that does not resolve it, the dispute may be brought before the competent courts of the place where the operator is established, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it in your local courts.
